SONY UNVEILS FUN, AFFORDABLE BOOMBOX AND CLOCK RADIO

Portable Tunes … in Color

The new ZS-E5 boombox model will deliver your music in style. At about $40, it is Sony’s most personalized and least expensive boombox. The system features a light-hearted design in a compact body for easy portability. Four color options include pink, red, blue and aqua.

The ZS-E5 model includes a built-in analog AM/FM tuner, an integrated CD player that supports CD-R/RW playback, and a line-in jack for digital music players. This fun, versatile boombox also has a large LED display and easy to use buttons -- ideal for anyone who likes listening to music out loud, on the go, without the fuss.

Music Over Easy

Sony is also enhancing its clock radio line-up with the introduction of the ICF-C414 large display model for around $20. Featuring a stylish “floating” design with a 1.4-inch LED display, this clock radio adds automatic time set and daylight savings time adjustment, making it easy to set up and maintain the correct time.

The clock radio has a “No Power, No Problem” dual alarm system with separate controls, progressive alarm speed, volume level and snooze function. Other handy features include an analog AM/FM radio tuner and brightness control for the LED display. It’s a good fit for those who want to wake up to a big, bright display, along with music on their favorite radio station.

Availability

The boombox and clock radio will be available in April direct at www.sonystyle.com and at Sony Style stores around the county, as well as military base exchanges and authorized dealers nationwide.
